E. L. Wiegand incorporated Wiegand Electric Company in 1917 manufacturing
electric heating elements under the "Chromalox" brand. Known
as "Chromalox" and "Springfield Wire" for much of our history, we are proud to now
carry the "Backer-Springfield" brand.
